THE CHALLENGE
Accelerate Greater Charleston has established itself as a successful initiative of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce. In order to continue the success with Accelerate 2, the Chamber has set a financial goal over the next three years. To secure and retain the current contributions, investors want to see success stories of how their money is making a difference. The best way to achieve this is to produce a series of Chamber Spotlight videos that will humanize the initiative and make an emotional appeal to those investors. More people deserve to know about the impact of Accelerate Greater Charleston.
THE SOLUTION
We produced a 2:50 min video that follows multiple students participating in the career academy and the youth apprenticeship programs. By focusing on the student's perspective, we took the viewer on an emotional and visual exploration.
Motion Filmworks worked together with the CMCC to hand-select three characters to be the voice and focus of this story. We identified strategic film locations that would drive the narrative forward. By using our visually creative skills and storytelling techniques, we were able to humanize the success stories of the talent development program of the Charleston Metro Chamber of Commerce and the importance of these programs to our economy and communities.
